Nevada Skies is a mod for Fallout: New Vegas created by Yossarian.Itadds more versatile weather effects to the Mojave. Weather effects include Sandstorms, Rain, Rainstorms, RADstorms (make sure you got Rad-X), Thunderstorms (with/without rain) and snow at appropriate areas. Im not even sure if my problems have stemmed from Sexout mods, but after I installed a bunch of new stuff both from here and from Project Nevada, Unified Hud, Powered Power Armor, Nevada Skies, etc, I find that no matter what I bind my Attack and Crouch commands to, they do not work at ALL on new.

So, long story short, I'm sick of Nevada Skies. The storms in particular. The rest of it is fine, fantastic even. But the storms. Fuck the storms.' If you use the reddit's search function and look up Nevada Skies on this sub you'll find some stuff'Yes yes i know, but all I've found revolves around the thermo-hypograph.Which yeah okay, the dev added a nice little tool, supposedly lets you fiddle around with stuff.Except it doesn't quite work out like that.
My menu shows: Show Current Weather, Weather Switch/Shuffle, General Settings, Help and CreditsWeather Switch/Shuffle always gives me the message 'Nothin to Switch/Shuffle'. Every time I've tried it. Never has it worked.General Settings Yields: International/English Measuring Units, Thermo-Hypograph Can/Can't Be Dropped, Enable/Disable Weather Auto-Metering Display, Disable/Enable Help and Credits and Shuffle/Switch Mode for Weathers.None of these actually let me change the frequency or duration of storms. Not to mention I can't simply wait them out as I'm playing hardcore.tl;dr Will uninstalling Nevada Skies mess with my save files?. I did so not long ago to switch from NSkies to NSkies URWLified, which required a complete different install.
Had no issues with saves or anything else being altered whatsoever, shouldn't be an issue as far as I know.Tho I should mention. I'd noticed how the 'Thermo hygrograph' doesn't really offer much or properly do what it does offer. But for some reason, this URWLified version, which is not on Nexus and may no longer be supported but which I needed to run Powered Power Armor, also has an item called ' which actually does allow you to set frequency or turn on/off the various weather or storm types completely, as well as just seeming like it's more tightly scripted in general - it drags down my performance less than the current version I got from Nexus, and that version also doesn't have that second options menu, which is the one that actually works.Tho if you just want to uninstall, it shouldn't screw with anything. I'd just make sure your last save didn't involve you actively taking radiation in a radstorm or something. But I've switched it on and off several times without it screwing up my game.
I'm also doing hardcore mode, so that includes not fucking with those stats. But yeah, if you're mainly giving it up cus you can't disable radstorms, I'd look up the URWLified version before giving up on it completely.
