Dec 27, 2015  Superb Mod! I have been waiting for this. I really hope that you update this with more armors and weapons from the witcher 3 wild hunt, hair options, beard options, and a spell to make geralt’s schlong erectable. Haha or make a patch for it to be compatible with SOS. The Witcher 3 is an exceptional RPG and arguably one of the best games of all time. But while the game feels nearly perfect as it is, there are always a few things that could be improved. Luckily, there are quite a few Witcher 3 mods out there that you can use to spice up your game a bit.

The Witcher 3 has some amazing looking armor that Geralt can wear and even some awesome NPC ones. CDPR also allows assets to be used from their games. Where are the Witcher 3 armor mods?I have the Yennefer, Triss, and Ciri armors which prove how good Witcher 3 armor looks in Skyrim. I never play females characters though so I just give them to any followers I have.I almost can't believe this doesn't exist. I keep typing it in on nexus expecting the results to suddenly appear in front of me. I don't have the skill to do this. Maybe someone reading this does?.

I wouldn't say it's overly complicated rather than tedious and/or frustrating, at least for me. It is possible to convert something quickly, it just won't look/work as good compared to when you take the time to tweak weighting manually, tweak textures etc.I've been sitting on a conversion of Vesemir's armor for ages now. Technically it's done, but there are some noticeable weighting and texture issues that I can't seem to get rid of, no matter how I try.If anyone's interested, here are some.

My understanding is that basically it's making an armor from scratch without all the fun parts (design and creation of the polygons) and with only slightly less of the tedious parts (weighting, fixing textures, etc.).Incidentally, I read a few comments on the Shana armor conversion which I found fairly enlightening. Namely, that witcher has three detail levels of each armor (which one person interpreted as lod1-3), and that mod author had taken the middle level of detail to 'save polygons'. But all of his horrible clipping and other issues were caused by that decision.IMO always go for the highest polygon version you can get when making conversions!

You can always compress/clean it up later (iirc there are several automated tools for that), but adding more polygons is hard.He also said he was unable to convert anything that had Witcher 3 fabric physics. I really hope someone is able to get past that and convert it to Skyrim HDT at some point:3. Yeah, I know about the LODs, I went with the most detailed one specifically to get more polygons to work with.but adding more polygons is hard.Well, simply adding them isn't hard.

You can just slap a Tesselate or TurboSmooth modifier on the mesh. Should you do that? It works out well for some few meshes, but outright terrible for most others. TurboSmooth almost always causes little holes on seam intersections (like under the armpit), for example. It's noticeable on the High-Poly Vanilla Armor UUNP conversions.(Do I sound nitpicky?

Skyrim Kaer Morhen Castle Mods

I don't mean to, really; I appreciate your help). It's perfectly doable with no experience whatsoever. I should know - the two mods I have up on the Nexus are Witchers 2 armors for Geralt and Iorveth and before that I had no experience in 3D modelling or modding whatsoever.I'm not going to lie, adjusting the meshes and getting them properly weighted etc. Can be a bit fiddly, but with a little perseverance it should all start to come together before too long.

There are bunch of online resources to help you along the way and the Nexus forums are a great place to seek assistance.Seeing an armor go from a wireframe model and a bunch of textures to a fully realised item is game is awesome, though. You've half tempted me to get back into it myself:). As I see it only three male armors have been ported to Skyrim from the Witcher 3. These include the Prolgue Armor, Kaer Morhen armor and Caranthir's armor. All of these can be downloaded from gamer-mods.ru though they are in Russian. The Kaer Morhen and Caranthir armors were converted by the same gentleman.

Not sure who ported over the prologue armor. Also I seen conversions done by people on deviant art albeit not for Skyrim, just for rendering purposes. Here's an example:There are a lot of differing armors and outfits there as well. Not sure if they can be converted to.nif or not however.

The Witcher 3 is a fun, beautiful, lonely game. Though Geralt’s story intersects with dozens of lively NPCs, more fleshed out than their counterparts in other RPGs, most of his travels are alone with only his horse, Roach, at his side. You’ll fight with many of your allies (most notably at an enormous battle at Kaer Morhen), but after that? Everyone more or less goes their separate ways.A new mod for The Witcher 3 is changing that, and has the capacity to make the game feel a lot more like Skyrim, where you’re almost always being followed by a companion, unless you choose to dismiss them and go solo. You need in order to make this work. A video of them in action is below, so you can see how it appears in the game. A host of companion characters are available to choose from, including young Ciri, shown in the video, and you’ll also recognize a bonus feature of the mod as you’re watching.A new, non-Geralt hero! The player here is using Triss Merigold, strapped with Geralt’s swords as their main character.

There are a few NPCs you can sub in here, so you can wander around the countryside as someone other than Geralt and Geralt alone.Obviously, there are limitations to this mod. Unlike Skyrim, you’re not going to be able to give your companion your extra gear to “share your burdens,” as Lydia might say. Nor will you be able to have voiced conversations with them. And it goes without saying that if you’re suddenly playing as Triss or Yennefer or Shani, Geralt’s lines won’t be magically re-recorded in the game’s numerous cutscenes.I did feel a bit lonely playing through The Witcher 3 as Geralt, only interacting with others during specific missions. But the concept of a companion doesn’t really work well within the context of the game. Character interactions are pretty complex, so it would have been weird to drag Triss along on Yennefer missions, and having Ciri as a companion would be downright impossible most times as you’re spending the majority of the game looking for her.

The Witcher 3 Armor Mods

I think a companion system could have worked with a few select characters (Zoltan is one of the only ones that comes to mind), but I think the game was right to avoid it, even if it’s a popular concept in games like Skyrim or Dragon Age.But in the world of mods? How to adjust brightness on dell monitor screen 14 inch in nigeria. Sure, it won’t make any plot sense, but the ability to play as multiple NPCs and use other NPCs as your followers seems like a lot of fun. Give it a try for yourself and see how your new heroes and companions perform in combat.Follow me,.
