I am trying to adjust the brightness (lower it) on my Dell monitor. The problem is that after pressing the brightness/contrast button on the monitor it seems that I am then required to make the adjustment useing a Dell keyboard with its - and + keys. I didn't like the black keyboard when I first got it and gave it away to continue using my old IBM white keyboard. Is there now another way to adjust the brightness on my monitor other than searching for another Dell keyboard?

It seems like I tried every combination but that, including every key on the keyboard, every button on the monitor, behind the monitor, etc. The trick was to hold the menu button down while pressing the plus or minus buttons. Why didn't instructions tell me that?

The monitor brightness is adjusted down now and is much more comfortable. I am much indebted for the help.I dont think I can contribute to the technical part of this site, but perhaps sometime I will see something off track that I will be able to shed some light on.Again, thank you for your help.
