  1. Db 7 Supplement

DB-7HistoryThe Douglas DB-7/A-20 Havoc was the most-produced attack bomber during World War II. A total of 7,477 DB-7/A-20s were built, most at Douglas, although 380 were built at the Boeing plant in Seattle, Wash. The Havoc was a mid-wing, twin-engine, three-place medium bomber that earned a reputation for getting its crews home, even when both crew and aircraft suffered crippling blows.

A-20G-25 Havoc; Boston Mk I (Great Britain) (Aircraft originally ordered by the French, but diverted to Britain due to the French armistice) DB-7 (Great Britain) (Also known as Havoc I, the initial order of DB-7 aircraft delivered to the French before the armistice).
  2. War Thunder is the most comprehensive free-to-play, cross-platform, MMO military game for Windows, Linux, Mac and PlayStation®4 dedicated to aviation, armoured vehicles, and naval craft from World War II and the Cold War.

It was called the “Boston” when in service with England’s Royal Air Force. It entered production when, despite official neutrality in 1938, there was little doubt in the United States that the country should support its allies, Britain and France. The French saw the secret bomber project at the Douglas Santa Monica, Calif., facility and ordered the first 107 DB-7s; they were to be delivered to the French Purchasing Commission at Santa Monica starting in October, with deliveries made by ship to Casablanca. The French then ordered another 270 DB-7s. Before the fall of France in June 1940, half had been accepted, but many were still en route. Sixteen had been diverted to Belgium’s Aviation Militaire.SpecificationsDB-7First flight Aug. 17, 1939Wingspan 61 feet 4 inchesLength 47 feet 7 inchesHeight 17 feet 7 inchesWeight 19,750 poundsPower Plant Two 1,600-hp Wright R-2600-23 enginesTop Speed 340 mphCeiling 28,175 feetRange 1,240 milesAccommodation Three crewArmament Eight 0.30 caliber machine guns.2,000 lb (900 kg) bombs in an internal bay.ReferencesThere is a Premium British DB-7 that has been in War Thunder since 1.29 but at the time, there was no French Tech Tree. I believe it is time for the French to get a DB-7 that they used during the early stages of World War 2.Edited December 13, 2018 by.jermster18.

War Thunder is a Massively Multiplayer Online (MMO) Combat Flight Simulator and it is currently in the open beta testing phase of its development.

I've maintained since the French tree drops that they should get this plane (it's already in the game, but as a British premium from back in the days where French aircraft were British premiums).Would love to see this one flying with its fellows.I thought about suggesting that and PM'd CokeSpray and which subforum to make this suggestion and he suggested it would be easier to make a whole new post for the DB-7 in the French Tech Tree since it rarely or never happens that Premium Vehicles switch Tech Trees. That is what I did.

It needs to be in the French lineup. Especially since there is a well established French Tree to hang it on, remove it from the UK tree or leave the plane but reskin it to some thing more RAF-ish.We have 3 planes in the UK tree, that are not that different:- The Havoc Mk I- The Boston Mk I- The DB-7Since the DB-7 is a limited event-vehicle i don't think it should be removed from the tree or reskinned. If it is given out again it should just go into the French tree instead of the British tree (if it is not going to be a regular plane in the French tree). What I meant is that the D. Torrent femme fatales 2011-2012. 521 does not have to be available to new owners as she is a chimeraStill a French premium that has nothing to do in the British tree. By the way, all the incoherences/mistakes about this plane have been reported, and I know from a solid source that the report has been pulled up. So maybe we'll see the correct setup soon. Also, the D.521 returns frequently in warbonds store so.

Basically, we can catch up often as the Finnish KV-1B.Edited December 23, 2018 by TheRoswellUFO. + 1Free French bombing squadron ' Lorraine' (sq. 342) flew Boston III from 1943 on:Source.IMHO, D. 521 should not be added in the French tree as it was not a viable project (see ).

Db 7 Supplement

On the contrary, the D. 524  was viable (+ same 3D model and better known data), thus would be perfect in the French TTThe in-game D.521 isn't a D.521 at all. It's a D.520 painted in French livery from the second half of 1944 (It has Luftwaffe camo with French and Allied markings painted over it, denoting a repatriated aircraft).Edited December 24, 2018 by Z3r0.
