Windows 10 Install Stuck At 64%
I have a Lenovo Y520 that i factory reset a couple of hours ago because it randomly does blue screen. After a couple of minutes, the computer restarted and continued to the Windows installation. Instead of completing the installation however, it got to 64% and then restarted multiple times. I left it couple of hours just to be sure, and it was still at 64%.
All that happens is the Lenovo boot up screen for about 15-20 seconds, a black screen for 20-30 seconds, a quick flash of the 64% completed screen and then it shuts off and restarts the process. Instead it uses a Windows Recovery when the novo button is used to Reset this PC ( of the user's manual).Point of failure therefore maybe the Windows image or possible with the harddrive itself. If you still have warranty coverage then calling technical support would get you faster options to proceed. Thnaks for your replyI still have warranty coverage.I did a and the old system is saved in a folder names windows.old and also i activated the system but the problem is that i lost all lenovo programs such as fan program.I tried to make the reset again maybe it will work with the new system and will recover all my lenovo programs but when i use NOVO button and go to trubleshotting i only get advanced option, the reset option is not there (disappeared ). I don't know what to do.Please Help.
